Terms
Last updated October 19, 2026
These terms cover Taxr, from Claimyr Inc. By using Taxr you agree to them.
What Taxr does, and doesn’t
Taxr explains your tax documents, makes estimates, and prepares worksheets, letters and summaries for you to review and send. It does not file returns, contact the IRS for you, move money, or give legal or tax advice. Its estimates can be wrong: check them before you rely on them. For an audit, a court petition or a business with employees, work with a CPA or enrolled agent.
The tax year pass
Reading a document and the answer to it are free. The tax year pass ($29) unlocks everything for one tax year: every detail on every document, the refund watch and its texts, the bank deposit watch, W-4 sheets, drafted IRS replies, call scripts, and the filing summary. It is one payment for that tax year; it works through the October extension deadline after it, and nothing renews by itself. Next tax year is a new pass. You see the price before you pay. Fees are in U.S. dollars and are non-refundable.
Texts from Taxr
- Program: Taxr account texts. When you sign in with your mobile number, Taxr texts it your sign-in codes. While you have the tax year pass, it also texts you when your refund’s status changes or it lands, and reminders before your tax deadlines and estimated payments.
- Message frequency varies with your file, usually a few texts a month in tax season.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time; you’ll get one text confirming it. Reply HELP for help, or write to support@taxr.ai.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
